Nature’s Escape

Naveen Marasinghe asked:

Petit Byahaut is situated south west of St. Vincent. The island covers an area of 50 acres. Ecotourism is a main feature of this island; there are tropical flowers, trees, sea creatures, sea plants, birds and exciting underwater caves to explore. But not only is there nature in abundance, modern technology is merged here seamlessly with nature. There are eleven reservoirs that store rainwater and also solar panels which supply power for lighting, water pumps and freezing.

Yet the island is a jungle valley with no phones, roads or TVs. Only a maximum of fourteen to ten guest are allowed to stay in the island in five shelters. The shelters are made from wood while others are tents the size of a room. These accommodations all reside on the slopes of the mountains amidst greenery.

There are many secluded waterfalls that one can take a shower in. Fine wines together with wonderful meals are served to the visitors. One can get a guide to hike to the waterfalls, the rainforest or the volcano. Boat rides are also available which could be taken along the falls of Baleine or the Trinity Falls.

Petit Byahaut is situated in St. Vincent and Grenadines. Canouan Island is one of the islands of the Grenadines that belongs to St. Vincent. At Canouan one can a find an airport which will be useful for travelling for trips in and around St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and for getting to and from the surrounding islands.

A luxury hotel in Canouan Island will ensure all your needs and wants are met with lavish convenience. A stay in a Canouan Island Hotel will help one plan his/her journey before embarking on a wonderful adventure.
