Why is CNN broadcasting so many commercials promoting tourism and travel lately?

I don’t know if any of you has noticed this but the bulk of commercials broadcast on CNN promote tourism to Europe/Africa. They’re quite lengthy commercials as well. What is the reason behind this?

    Those commercials are an excellent source of revenue for CNN, and that is why they broadcast them.
